NUDE PORTRAITS: A SACRED CONTAINER

Hi Friendly Souls,
Nudity in the western culture has become so degraded and taboo that finding ways to engage with it collectively in positive ways is nonexistent. The trauma overwhelming, and yet it is only in facing this wound — collectively — that it heals.
May We Rise is an experiential art show container with a sacred intention to collectively engage with the human body in a way that is positive, safe, and expansive — in other words — an opportunity to heal, in community; a safe space to ground into and connect with the art of our natural form and land in our nakedness in order to commune with it in tender acceptance and grace.
Because of the nature of this work, those souls ready to pause and contemplate that we are enough as we are, are initiated into the journey at an Opening Night Art Show, after which they have the opportunity to participate and share their story during Shoot Week, followed by the Closing Night Art Show and the chance to experience ~themselves~ as works of art. For further integration, those who choose to participate are invited to a Closing Day Brunch Ceremony with Collette Elosha to deepen the experience in community and connection.
Attending the Opening Night Art Show event is required to maintain integrity for this sacred journey. Shoot Week photoshoot timeslots will be available for purchase that evening.
In solidarity with our human family, this container is open to bodies of all ages, orientations, and genders, as well as families with young children, in the context of learning empowering self-image, healthy body relationships & safe boundaries.
Whether this is a solo journey, done with a friend, or inclusive of young children, I believe that when this integration happens together — through the safety & stabilization of an experiential art container — personal perspective and values have the opportunity to shift for all past and forthcoming generations; to heal, understand, respect, reclaim, and fundamentally establish bodily safety as a core component and essential ~right~ of the human experience because our bodies ~belong~ to ~us~, and no one else.
